Right down the street from our Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory, Corporate Offices, and Ice Cream and Chocolate Factory Outlet, the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro work together to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
All proceeds from this tournament go directly to support the amazing and innovative programs of the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro including academic enrichment, sports, art, and STEM programs.

Iconic player-designer Jack Nicklaus, winner of 18 Professional Major Championships, chose this pristine swath of terrain as the site of his first Northern California golf course, etching one of his most imaginative championship layouts ever into the Livermore Valley amidst more than 53 picturesque vineyards.
Towering oaks frame all-weather Bermuda grass fairways and Nicklaus’ signature wide, contoured Crenshaw bent grass greens, with numerous elevation changes, breathtaking vistas and magnificent water features creating both strategic diversity and a stunning backdrop for golf. Come enjoy this adventurous par-72 course, which measures 7,400 yards from the Nicklaus tees – making it the longest golf course in Northern California.

Every time I stop by the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro, I see magic happening, whether it’s students in the Tech Center learning sports analytics or teens in the kitchen collaborating to make snacks for their youth leadership meeting. The only time I don’t see magic happening is when I pick up a basketball in the Teen Center Gym and try to make a three pointer!
Every day at 21 sites throughout San Leandro and San Lorenzo the Boys and Girls Club staff provide awesome opportunities for kids and teens to learn and grow.
Our goal is simple, the more funds we can raise for the club, the more opportunities they can provide for local students - our leaders of tomorrow!
This year marks our 22nd Annual Ghirardelli Golf Classic and we have set an ambitious goal of raising $350,000. Ghirardelli is the event’s Presenting Sponsor with an $80,000 sponsorship, and we are also committed to matching the first $100,000 in donations.
